Moravia, Czech Republic

The Czech Republic is made up of three regions: Bohemia, Moravia, and Silesia. On the drive from Vienna to Prague, we passed through Moravia. This was particularly exciting for Julie, because she attended Moravian College.

Moravia was quite scenic. We took a quick stop just after we crossed the Czech border to view this beautiful Moravian castle in the distance.

All while in the Czech Republic, Julie was on the lookout for a sign that said Moravia as proof that we were there. We saw several road signs, but this is the only sign Julie was able to capture on camera. It is a sign that we saw in Prague advertising Moravian wine.
